
Traditional municipal street lighting projects are highly dependent on financial investment. Their operation models are simplistic and energy consumption control is weak. This not only leads to waste of energy and resources, hinders the progress of urban energy conservation and emission reduction efforts, but also fails to meet the needs of the public for high-quality nighttime travel and modern urban governance.

The project adopts an innovative model of "government guidance, market operation, and technology empowerment", and implements a new model of contract energy management for street lamps. The renovation project employs IOTCOMM control technology, relying on IOTCOMM communication hardware and the smart lighting management platform, to achieve an upgrade in intelligent control of street lamps.

More than 55,000 street lamps have been fully transformed into intelligent ones, achieving a comprehensive upgrade in street lighting. After the transformation, the regional comprehensive energy-saving rate exceeded 50%, with an annual electricity savings of 18 million kilowatt-hours. The green emission reduction effect was remarkable. Through intelligent dimming and full-area coverage, the nighttime lighting environment was significantly improved. Combined with the convenient repair mechanism, the safety and comfort of citizens' nighttime travel were significantly enhanced. The complaint rate related to lighting decreased by more than 70% year-on-year, and the public satisfaction rate reached over 99%. This innovative model has formed replicable and promotable practical experience, creating a new path for multi-party win-win urban green renewal and intelligent governance.
