IOTCOMM Selected as a Major Manufacturing Project in Fujian Province

Recently, the Fujian Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology announced the list of key technological innovation and industrialization projects for Fujian's manufacturing industry in 2025, aiming to support benchmark teachnologies that can lead industry transformation and create huge market value. 


IOTCOMM was successfully selected for its "Research and Industrialization of a Full-Scenario Self-Optimizing Intelligent Edge Digital Base Device," signifying that its technological capabilities have received the highest recognition at the provincial level.

In recent years, the accelerated development of smart cities globally and the deepening digital transformation of urban governance have driven an exponential growth in urban sensing data, placing immense pressure on existing urban terminal equipment such as traffic monitoring, environmental sensing, and energy dispatching.


However, the traditional approach of distributing AI gateways across individual light poles suffers from numerous bottlenecks: equipment storage areas are prone to overheating and downtime; low-lying areas are at high risk of flooding; dispersed computing power makes multi-pole coordination difficult; pre-built algorithms have poor scenario adaptability; and overall investment costs are high, with challenging maintenance.


To address these challenges, IOTCOMM has launched an AI digital base deployed in power distribution cabinets. This solution is not merely a single piece of hardware, but a systemic innovation integrating smart hardware, an algorithm platform, and an operational ecosystem.

01 Reconstruct hardware deployment


IOTCOMM's solution adopts a standardized, integrated configuration, based on standard communication cabinets and rack-mounted equipment, enabling rapid deployment.

By employing an active intelligent temperature control system and a highly secure design, the core AI computing equipment has been moved from the light pole to a safer power distribution cabinet. This fundamentally solves the persistent problems of equipment failure caused by outdoor high temperatures, water accumulation, and lightning strikes, ensuring stable system operation in complex environments.

By integrating industrial switches, digital hub gateways, and AI computing gateways, the system enables unified access, centralized management, flexible scheduling, and collaborative decision-making for hundreds of smart devices in the area, ensuring high reliability and availability and maximizing the capabilities and value of AI.


02 AI Ability Evolution


IOTCOMM not only comes pre-installed with a rich library of basic algorithms, such as "helmet wearing recognition," making it "ready to use out of the box," but also innovatively developed an AI training platform.

The platform enables AI capabilities to "relearn," allowing users to independently collect data and train algorithms based on specific scenarios (such as parks, tunnels, and intersections). The data can then be updated to the front-end AI digital base with a single click through the platform, improving recognition accuracy and adding new features.

IOTCOMM has built an open "AI Algorithm Mall." Users can list their well-trained and high-performing algorithms on the mall and monetize them.


This model transforms projects from one-time hardware investments into sustainable software services and data value-added operations, opening up a clear revenue return path for smart street light projects for the first time and pioneering a new business model for smart cities.
